Dementia Certificate Program

Dementia Certificate Program 

An in-depth 6-hour training designed for professionals who want to gain more knowledge about dementia and tools to provide better care. The topics covered are: Overview of Dementia and Disease Progression, Empathic Communication, Managing Challenging Behaviors, Medication Management, and A specialized Approach to ADL's and the Environment.

Dates/Time: September 24 & October 1 from 1:00 - 4:00pm

Tuition for the Dementia Certificate Program is program is $80 and includes materials, 6 CEUs, and a certificate of completion. Tuition for family caregiver's is $10 to cover the costs. To register call 508-775-5656, email info@alzcapecod.org, or register online.

 

Dementia Certificate Program on Martha's Vineyard

September 17 from 1-4:00 PM & September 18 from 9-12:00 PM
Location: Martha's Vineyard Regional Transit Authority, 11A Street, Edgartown
